Collagen Lift: V-Lift Technique to Prevent Puffy Face
What is a Collagen Lift treatment?
It is a state of the art treatment to provide both lift and regenerative power to improve volume and skin texture. Both biostimulatory products such as Radiesse and hyaluronic acid fillers are blended together to yield lift and better skin texture. The products are blended with lidocaine to provide comfort. It is one of our most natural and safe products in the V-Lift portfolio.
The V-Lift difference:
- We blend it to 3 different consistencies for different facial areas.
- Our technique guarantees no puffy or swollen face.
Customary Blend:
- 1 Syringe of Radiesse
- 1 Syringe of Belotero
Radiesse is a biostimulatory dermal filler made from calcium hydroxylapatite (CaHA) microspheres suspended in a gel carrier. Unlike traditional hyaluronic acid fillers that mainly provide temporary volume, Radiesse stimulates collagen and elastin production, leading to long-term skin regeneration.
The Collagen Lift is typically used in discreet areas to provide instant-lift and facial volume without the risk of a "puffy, swollen" face.
- Temple area
- Cheek
- Laugh Line
- Chin Augmentation
- Jawline
OUR TECHNIQUE GUARANTEES NO PUFFY OR SWOLLEN FACE
Pillow face often describes an overly puffy, swollen, or unnatural facial appearance caused by excessive or poorly placed dermal filler injections. It occurs when too much filler is injected into areas like the cheeks, under the eyes, or jawline, leading to a bloated or distorted look rather than a youthful, natural enhancement.
Causes of pillow face:
- Overfilling: Injecting too much filler in one session or layering excessive amounts over time.
- Poor Injection Technique: Incorrect placement of filler, especially in areas prone to swelling.
- Inappropriate Filler Choice: Using a filler that retains too much water or lacks proper integration with facial tissues.
- Frequent Touch-Ups: Over-correcting or continuously adding filler without allowing it to settle naturally.
- Aging-Related Skin Changes: As skin loses elasticity, excess filler can create an unnatural, heavy appearance.
The V-Lift Technique is a strategic approach to filler placement that enhances facial structure while maintaining a natural, non-swollen appearance. By focusing on deep placement and advanced distribution methods, this technique helps achieve refined, long-lasting results.
- Deep Placement of Fillers
- Micro-Bolus Carpeting Method
- Strategic Placement Behind the Hairline
- Selection of Low Water-Retention Fillers
- Avoiding Excessive Cheek Volume
- Incorporating Regenerative & Hybrid Fillers
This V-Lift technique prioritizes safety, facial harmony, and a refined aesthetic, making it an optimal approach for natural-looking results.
