Medical Weight Loss (BMW)

Do I need a video visit to get started?

No video visit is required. A licensed provider reviews your information and lab results completely online. Once enrolled, you have unlimited access to message your provider, all included at no extra cost.

Is insurance required?

No insurance is required. We offer straightforward, transparent pricing with affordable compounded options.

When will I start seeing results?

Most patients notice appetite changes within 2 to 4 weeks. Significant body composition changes typically appear between weeks 8 and 16. Your timeline will be personalized by your provider.

How long do I need to stay on medication?

Duration is highly individualized. Many patients use GLP-1 medications as a bridge, resetting their metabolism while building habits for long-term maintenance.

Will I lose muscle on GLP-1 medications?

GLP-1 medications can cause muscle loss if used alone. Our BMW Protocol pairs GLP-1 support with peptide therapy, hormone optimization, protein targets, and strength training guidance to protect lean mass.

What are the potential side effects of GLP-1 medications?

It’s common to experience some side effects like nausea and upset stomach as your body adjusts to the medication. They’re usually temporary and are easier to manage when you know what to do. We’re here for you every step of the way as you adjust to your medication:

  • Your dosage and how fast you increase your dosage are personalized to you, and your provider can help make adjustments as needed, anytime.
  • Free step-by-step guides made by weight loss experts.
  • 24/7 messaging with a licensed provider at no extra cost.
  • Personalized dosage and medication adjustments as needed by a licensed provider.
  • To help your body adjust, a fast-acting anti-nausea medication can be sent to your local pharmacy if eligible.
Can my dosage be adjusted?

Yes. Providers personalize and adjust dosages based on your progress. Higher doses are available at additional cost. Message your provider any time at no extra charge.

PDO Thread Lift

What are PDO Threads?

PDO threads are dissolvable threads that tighten and lift the skin and stimulate collagen production.

What happens after the PDO Thread Lift?

After the procedure, you will be given aftercare instructions.

  1. Most clients experience some mild swelling and bruising which resolves over the course of a few days.
  2. Recovery time is typically less than 2 days.
  3. Strenuous exercise should be avoided for 1 to 2 weeks.
Who is the best candidate?

Ideal candidates want to improve laugh lines or mouth corners and have good skin tissue quality. Your provider will confirm candidacy at consultation.

How long does it take?

The procedure takes 15 to 30 minutes.

Does it hurt?

Discomfort is minimal with proper technique.

How long do the results last?

Results last up to one year.

What is the downtime, and what are the possible side effects?

Downtime is typically less than 24 hours, with only mild bruising. Rare side effects include severe bruising and infection, and dimpling is also possible but rare. Make sure you choose a trustworthy injector to perform your treatment.

Renuva

What exactly is Renuva?

Renuva is an allograft adipose matrix made from donated human adipose tissue. It does not contain living donor fat cells. It provides an extracellular-matrix framework in areas where native fat normally exists, and that framework is gradually remodeled as your own cells repopulate the area.

Is Renuva "FDA approved" like a dermal filler?

Renuva is FDA-regulated as a human cell, tissue, and cellular and tissue-based product (HCT/P), under a different framework from FDA-approved drugs and dermal-filler devices. This page intentionally does not call Renuva an "FDA-approved filler."

How is it different from hyaluronic-acid filler?

Hyaluronic-acid filler places a gel for immediate shape or volume and may be dissolvable with an enzyme. Renuva is a donor-derived tissue matrix intended for gradual remodeling in native-fat areas, and it is not reversible with filler-dissolving enzyme.

What are the important safety points?

Renuva is contraindicated for patients with significant allergies manifested by anaphylaxis or severe allergen sensitivity. Potential effects include allergic response, infection, immune response, discoloration, swelling, tenderness, redness, bruising, pain, or irritation. Donor screening and testing reduce, but cannot eliminate, the risk of infectious-disease transmission. Review the current Instructions for Use with a qualified clinician.

Does Renuva replace a facelift?

No. Restoring soft-tissue volume does not remove excess skin or correct significant tissue descent. A responsible consultation should discuss when surgery, another nonsurgical treatment, or no treatment better fits the concern.

What areas can Renuva treat?

Renuva is intended for areas where native fat normally exists. Areas we evaluate include:

  • Temples
  • Forehead
  • Eye area (by restoring mid-cheek support)
  • Medial and lateral cheek
  • Scars and dimples
  • Hands

Each zone requires an anatomy-specific assessment, and not every patient or every area is appropriate.

Is there downtime after Renuva injections?

Temporary swelling and bruising can occur, and early swelling usually settles within about half a day. Renuva does not attract water the way hyaluronic-acid filler does. Other potential effects include tenderness, redness, pain, or irritation. Your clinician will review the full safety information with you at consultation.

How long do results last?

Renuva works gradually with your own tissue over weeks and months rather than adding instant volume, and results are reassessed over months, not days. Some patients need more than one session. Individual results, timing, and longevity vary, and your provider will discuss what to expect at consultation.

Will I look puffy?

No. Any early swelling usually settles within about half a day, and the natural look returns with it. Renuva does not hold water the way hyaluronic-acid filler can, so it is not designed to leave a full, cushioned appearance.

Will I still look like myself?

Yes. The change is gradual by design. Renuva works with your own tissue over weeks and months rather than adding instant volume, so there is no sudden change in the mirror. You look like yourself, simply more rested.

Can it be dissolved?

No, and it is not meant to be. Renuva is remodeled into your own soft tissue rather than sitting in place as a gel, so there is nothing foreign left to dissolve. That is also why placement is planned conservatively from the very first session.

Should I wait until my weight is stable?

Bring your timeline to the consultation. Active loss may change facial anatomy and can make the response harder to predict.

Can skin care replace lost volume?

Skin care can support the surface, but it does not recreate a depleted fat compartment. The right answer may combine skin and volume strategies.

Do I need filler or surgery instead?

It depends on whether the primary issue is volume loss, skin laxity, structural definition, or a combination. One treatment cannot solve every layer.

How much change should I expect?

Renuva is often chosen for soft, gradual restoration. Ask how subtle results, repeat sessions, total cost, and timing will be handled.

Signature Collagen Lift

What is the Collagen Lift?

Customary Blend:

  • 1 Syringe of Radiesse
  • 1 Syringe of Belotero

Radiesse is a biostimulatory dermal filler made from calcium hydroxylapatite (CaHA) microspheres suspended in a gel carrier. Unlike traditional hyaluronic acid fillers that mainly provide temporary volume, Radiesse stimulates collagen and elastin production, leading to long-term skin regeneration.

What treatment area(s) is Collagen Lift best used for?

The Collagen Lift is typically used in discreet areas to provide instant-lift and facial volume without the risk of a "puffy, swollen" face.

  1. Temple area
  2. Cheek
  3. Laugh Line
  4. Chin Augmentation
  5. Jawline

OUR TECHNIQUE GUARANTEES NO PUFFY OR SWOLLEN FACE

What is pillow face?

Pillow face often describes an overly puffy, swollen, or unnatural facial appearance caused by excessive or poorly placed dermal filler injections. It occurs when too much filler is injected into areas like the cheeks, under the eyes, or jawline, leading to a bloated or distorted look rather than a youthful, natural enhancement.

Causes of pillow face:

  • Overfilling: Injecting too much filler in one session or layering excessive amounts over time.
  • Poor Injection Technique: Incorrect placement of filler, especially in areas prone to swelling.
  • Inappropriate Filler Choice: Using a filler that retains too much water or lacks proper integration with facial tissues.
  • Frequent Touch-Ups: Over-correcting or continuously adding filler without allowing it to settle naturally.
  • Aging-Related Skin Changes: As skin loses elasticity, excess filler can create an unnatural, heavy appearance.
How can I prevent puffy, pillow face with V-Lift Technique?

The V-Lift Technique is a strategic approach to filler placement that enhances facial structure while maintaining a natural, non-swollen appearance. By focusing on deep placement and advanced distribution methods, this technique helps achieve refined, long-lasting results.

  1. Deep Placement of Fillers
  2. Micro-Bolus Carpeting Method
  3. Strategic Placement Behind the Hairline
  4. Selection of Low Water-Retention Fillers
  5. Avoiding Excessive Cheek Volume
  6. Incorporating Regenerative & Hybrid Fillers

This V-Lift technique prioritizes safety, facial harmony, and a refined aesthetic, making it an optimal approach for natural-looking results.

EZ PRF Gel

Is EZ PRF Gel a Safe Treatment?

Yes, EZ PRF Gel is considered very safe, especially when administered by a licensed and experienced provider. Because it's an autologous treatment, using your own blood, it significantly reduces the risk of allergic reactions or adverse side effects that can occur with synthetic fillers.

What areas can be treated with EZ PRF Gel?

EZ PRF Gel is versatile and can be used to treat:

  • Undereye hollows
  • Sunken cheeks
  • Fine lines and deep wrinkles
  • Enlarged pores
  • Chin and jawline contouring
  • Lip augmentation
Is There Any Downtime After EZ PRF Gel Injections?

Downtime is minimal. Some patients may experience mild swelling, tenderness, or bruising, which typically resolves within 48 hours. Most people return to their normal routines right away without interruption.

How quickly will I see results, and how long do they last?

You'll notice an immediate boost in volume right after the treatment. Over the following 2 to 6 months, the natural collagen production stimulated by EZ PRF will gradually improve your skin's texture, firmness, and overall appearance. The initial plumping effect typically lasts 3 to 6 months.

Radiesse

What makes Radiesse different from other fillers?

Radiesse is both a volumizing filler and a collagen stimulator. Its calcium-based formula provides immediate lift while also stimulating your body to produce natural collagen for long-term improvement. Unlike traditional HA fillers, it offers a firmer structure and regenerative benefits.

Where can Radiesse be used?

Radiesse is commonly used in the lower face, including the jawline, chin, marionette lines, and cheeks. It's also effective for hand rejuvenation, and in some cases, when diluted, it can be used to improve skin texture and elasticity across the neck or décolletage.

How long do Radiesse results last?

Radiesse results typically last 12 to 18 months, depending on the treatment area and individual factors. The collagen-stimulating effects can extend improvements even after the filler itself has metabolized.

Sculptra

How is Sculptra different from traditional dermal fillers?

Traditional fillers provide immediate volume by injecting substances like hyaluronic acid under the skin. In contrast, Sculptra stimulates your body's own collagen production over time, helping to rebuild the skin's inner structure naturally. This means results appear more gradually, but last much longer, often over 2 years.

When will I start to see results from Sculptra?

Sculptra works gradually. You may begin to notice subtle improvements in volume and skin texture within a few weeks. However, optimal results typically appear after a series of treatments (usually 3 sessions spaced a few weeks apart), with full benefits showing over 2 to 3 months.

How long do Sculptra results last?

Results from Sculptra can last more than 2 years thanks to its collagen-stimulating properties. While the initial volume comes slowly, the effects are longer-lasting compared to typical fillers, making it a powerful solution for age-related volume loss.

Is Sculptra safe for sensitive areas like the under eyes?

Sculptra is FDA-approved and safe for use in the face, but it's not typically recommended for delicate areas like under the eyes or lips. It is best used for cheeks, temples, jawline, and nasolabial folds, where collagen loss is more noticeable. Your provider will guide you on the safest and most effective treatment areas based on your goals.
